Despite the name, these beauties are made here in Vermont with locally sourced material. We use maple wood or cherry. 
 
I make them in three sizes. Each are just about 1.5" in diameter.
Small: 9" long. - great for small baking projects
Medium: 20" long - Most common size. Versatile and useful for most rolling pin needs. 
Large: 30" - This is a great pin for commercial kitchens or folks who love to bake large goodies.
