Carve Something Awesome
Want to make something with your own two hands? Come spend some time at The Turn, where you'll carve raw wood into something worth showing off.
Whether you've never touched a lathe or you've been turning for years, our instructors will help you learn new skills, build confidence, and bring your ideas to life. We'll guide you from start to finish, help you improve your technique, and encourage you to experiment along the way. And whoever makes the biggest pile of wood shavings wins!
How It Works
1. Choose Your Project
From small, practical gifts to beautiful bowls and more ambitious woodworking projects, there's something for every skill level. Browse the project lists below to find something you'd like to make.

2. Choose Your Class Package
Choose a 1-hour, 6-hour, or 12-hour package, depending on what you'd like to make and how much time you'd like to spend in the shop.
You can join us for a quick, one-time project or make woodturning a regular part of your routine. Longer packages give you the opportunity to work on larger projects, explore different techniques, and develop your skills over multiple visits.
3. Choose Your Class Time
Check our schedule below to see available class days and times. Whether you prefer mornings, evenings, or weekends we offer regular weekly sessions that work for you.
4. Send Us Your Request
